Alhmadullellah with the grace of Allah SWT the Building Permit for the construction of our new mosque on 27-31 Green Street, Doveton has finally been issued.
Asalamualaikum Wa Rahmatullahe Wa Barakatuhu,
We are pleased to announce the appointment of the new Imam at Omar Farooq Mosque, Qari Zabiullah.
Qari Zabiullah was officially appointed by AICOM, as an Imam for one year to perform all duties of an Imam, including leading the five times prayers, the Jumah Khutba and Jumah Prayer, Eid Prayers, Janaza prayers, running of Quran classes, and all other Islamic duties as specified in his contract.
Qari Zabiullah completed his Islamic studies at Al Azhar Islamic University in Cairo, Egypt.
It is to be mentioned that Qari Aziz Ahmad Popal is appointed as Imam’s assistant.
While we congratulate both Qari Zabiullah and Qari Aziz Ahmad Popal on their new appointments, we pray to Allah SWT to give them both the strength and the abilities to serve the Afghan and the Islamic community at AICOM.
Jumu'ah Prayers
There will be two Jumu’ah khutbahs performed to allow more people to attend:

Allah said in the Qur’an
“O you who believe! Spend of that with which We have provided for you, before a Day comes when there will be no bargaining, nor friendship, nor intercession…”
[Quran 2:254]
